Vital Daily Services: Respite Care

A full-time respite care worker further compliments this service. She also provides needed transportation, but with one-on-one attention. This service is specifically for elders that are unable to be out alone due to severe health conditions (cancer treatment, dialysis, dementia and/or overall weakness). She also provides home visits to elders that are isolated and need regular "check-ins" to make sure they are all right.

Respite care may travel within a thirteen-mile radius of Wilmington as needed by seniors in poor health.
